Pie Face Game Consumer Reviews

The exciting Pie Face game is filled with fun and suspense, and somebody’s bound to get splatted! Just put some delicious whipped cream from home or the wet sponge on the “hand” of this hilarious game unit and start turning the handles. It could go off at any time, so keep your fingers crossed and hope you’re not the one who gets a splat in the face! You score a point for every time you turn the handle without getting pie-faced, and the one who scores 25 points wins.

Great Game to Play with Many Laughs...Is it a Game that You'll Play A Bunch of Times?
By Chip

HOW THE GAME WORKS:

This game is very simple to understand. The first step is to load the hand up with whipped cream (do I need to say it's not included?). It comes with a spinner that you use to determine how many turns or cranks you are supposed to crank the handle. After determining the number of cranks, you then put your chin in position. By the luck of the draw, you wait to see if you get pie (or whipped cream) in your face.

POTENTIAL USES:

This game is a great gag gift. It's definitely worth some laughs. It's also nice to play this game with kids. I think my wife is a 7-year old at heart. I made the comment that it's a good game to play, but I'm not sure how many times I would want to play it. She said, "what do you mean, I'd play it every week". I suppose it depends on your situation.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

It can get slightly messy, but it's not nearly as bad as I thought. Just have some dish towels/paper towels ready. I hope you found this review helpful. If I can help out in any way, please drop a comment below.

Best game!!

Such a great game! I see reviewers stating that the hand mechanism is on backwards - it is not backwards!!! The hand is made and oriented correctly. I will admit I thought it was wrong when I first assembled it, but then we tried it and realized that it was meant to be that way. Due to the way it is shaped, the whipped cream gets tossed in your face. It is hilarious and so much fun!

What a FUN game for all ages! We had game night last night and this game was a huge hit! We were all laughing at each other. Do yourself a favor. Buy this game, a can of whip cream and create some fun memories!

Not for the miserable grumps of the world

It's great for some laughs. I pre-ordered the game when it was $20. It's a cheap game and not worth much more than that. Although, can you really put a price on laughter? Plus, it'll make a superb drinking game.

BE AWARE THAT CHINA HAS BOOTLEG PIE FACE GAME
By Amazon Customer

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOUR ORDER THIS FROM! DO NOT ORDER FROM CHINA, THEYLL SEND YOU A BOOTLEG GAME!! YOU CAN IDENTIFY A BOOTLEG IF THE HAND IS FLAT AND IF THE BOX SAYS "SQUIRTIE CREAM NOT INCLUDED" INSTEAD OF "WHIPPED CREAM NOT INCLUDED". I BOUGHT MINE FROM ANOTHER SITE AND JUST WANTED TO MAKE PPL AWARE THAT THERE ARE MANY BOOTLEGS ELSEWHERE

This game is awesome for kids. And adults with a few tequilas in them.

LOTS of fun!

I bought this for our Thanksgiving get together after seeing my husbands aunt post videos of this of her grandchildren. It's absolutely hysterical, have the video on and ready to roll! It was great to get all ages involved! We had our 4 year old saying who was going next, even my husbands grandfather played as well! I highly recommend this game- however the hand looks like it goes on backwards but it really isn't. The part where you put your face in slides a little, but it's not that bad, easy to clean off and play over and over! *** I did pay only 14.99 on here just last week, and see it has sky rocketed to 42.00, I am thinking its because of all the videos on fb though??***

Russian Roulette for kids- ages 2-9
By K. Garfield

I played this with my five kids who ages span from 2 to 9. They all had a delightful time, with laughs all around the table, and we didn't even play with whipping cream that, incidentally, didn't come with the game. And they want to know when we'll break it out again.

The game comes with a flat square sponge that you can fill with water or slather with whipped cream, presumably a spraycan would be the easiest. You've got a spinner that the person spins on their turn and they need to place their chin on the stand and turn the dial that number of clicks maybe they get what's coming to them and maybe they don't. It's a kind of Russian Roulette gateway game for kids. Just kidding, it's fun and sweet.

I confess my kids just wanted to turn the dial till they got surprised, but the randomizer will happily deliver a startling something on the first turn or the 12th turn.

Make sure to have a towel handy- also not included.

Lastly, there is a sturdy enough plastic sheet that comes with it that is supposed to indicate where your head goes if you can't grasp resting your chin on the chin stand. This falls off easily as you move the device around the table, and goes on easily. Most of my kids prefer to play without it.
